Sexual Health Week 2011

INTRODUCTION

Sexual Health D&G will be running its 4th consecutive local sexual health awareness week from 22nd – 29th January 2011. The theme this year is:

‘LET’S TALK ABOUT SEX – NO GIRLS ALLOWED’

Health is often viewed as a woman’s domain with sexual health information and services often aimed at women.  Men, both young and old, are less likely to access health services including sexual health services. Therefore, the aim of this week is to raise awareness of sexual health issues for men of all ages.

We would like to encourage you to use this resource pack to raise awareness of positive sexual health for men in your place of work and/or your client group/service users. Perhaps you could display posters, plan activities or share the information in the pack with your colleagues.
