P-Test

The P-test is a urine test for Chlamydia. You can get a P-test at the Department of Family Planning and Sexual Health, Nithbank in Dumfries, Monday- Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm. Alternatively, visit your nearest Sexual Health Clinic.

Before you come it is important that you do not pass urine for two hours prior to your visit.
Most people do not show symptoms. A course of antibiotics is all that is needed to cure it. Remember, you should have a test every time you sleep with someone new (without using a condom).
